Event Guidelines

✶ Safety

We expect all attendees to be active participants in making events safer. We agree that every attendee is free to enjoy events without experiencing any of the following:

  • Physical, sexual, and emotional violence;
  • harassment of any kind;
  • unsolicited physical contact;
  • non-consensual sexual attention, touch, and objectification;
  • hatefulness and hate speech;
  • shaming, bullying, and deliberate intimidation;
  • stalking or unwanted following

✶ Respect

We expect all attendees practice consent which includes respecting people, their bodies, beliefs, possessions, and space. We agree consent is active, conscientious, voluntary, verbal and non-verbal, ongoing, and not limited to sexual contact. We have a zero-tolerance policy regarding explicit harassment and assault of any nature. Threatening behavior will lead to expulsion from an event.

✶ Harm Reduction

We expect all attendees to confront harmful behavior, check in with fellow attendees who may appear to be in a threatening situation, and ask the harm reduction team for support when needed especially if you are unsure of how to handle a situation. Our harm reduction team is responsible for assessing and responding to unmanageable social situations, providing space to process, administering NARCAN if and when needed, removing violators of our zero-tolerance policy from the space as well as facilitating the negotiation of boundaries if and when necessary.

✶ Environment

We expect all attendees look out for and honor all life on the farm, maintain respectful and safe boundaries on the dance floor, follow pathways and walkable areas, avoid property lines, camp in designated zones, use responsibly and within reason, takes breaks and rest, and stay hydrated and nourished. We expect all attendees review and abide by these guidelines.
